Thank you for requesting information about AGCI's adoption services. The following questions will provide a quick preview of the adoption eligibility requirements of the various countries, respective state laws and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.  Upon submission, you will receive access to our complete adoption information packet that provides in-depth information on AGCI and each of our current adoption programs.

Family Information
AGCI requires at least nine months between any child arriving in the home and a subsequent adoption application. Adopted children should also maintain birth order within the family.

Marriage
Couples must be in a stable marriage for at least one year prior to application. Prospective parents can only have two or fewer divorces per person.

Health & Criminal Information
Adoption applicants must submit to local, state and FBI criminal checks, and have no history of felonies. Their health history is also reviewed for conditions that may impair their ability to parent or provide a quality life for a child.
Has either applicant, or a household member, ever been arrested?
Applicants with Felonies are not accepted by any of our current programs.
Does either applicant have a current and/or past medical or mental health diagnosis?
Financial Information
Adoptive families must have an income of $10,000 per person, including the adopted child. (Special consideration is given to families with one parent at home.) All people living in a home at the time of an adoption become part of the home study interview process.
